The European Securities Markets Authority (“ESMA“) recently released two consultation papers under the Markets in Crypto Asset Regulation (“MiCA”). They provide preliminary guidelines on (i) crypto-asset classification and (ii) reverse solicitation.

The recent guidelines from the European Banking Authority (EBA) for crypto-asset service providers (“CASPs”) mark a crucial step in fortifying combat against money laundering (“ML”) and terrorist financing (“TF”) efforts.

We are thrilled to announce that today Bank of Lithuania issued ECSP licenses to 4 of our clients.

So far Lithuania has issued 7 EU Crowdfunding (#ECSP) licenses. 6 of such licenses were issued to Response Legal clients.
